FONTPLUS has started offering 15 additional Hiragino fonts from SCREEN Graphic Solutions. The new "Hiragino fonts" include "Hiragino Gyosho", "Hiragino Kakugo Old", and the Chinese "Hiragino Kakugo Simplified Chinese" and "Hiragino Kakugo Traditional Chinese". Also, the weight has been increased to ``ProN'' of ``Hiragino Kakugo'' and ``Hiragino Mincho.'' About typefaces
``ProN''* weight variations have been added to the familiar standard fonts ``Hiragino Kakugo'' and ``Hiragino Mincho.'' "Hiragino Kakugo ProN" has been expanded to 6 weights by adding "W1/W2/W4/W5" to the existing "W3/W6" and can now be used in a wider variety of situations. In addition, for "Hiragino Mincho ProN", "W2" will be added to the existing "W3/W6". Hiragino Gyosho is a gyosho font that suppresses the "crumbling" characteristic of calligraphy typefaces and achieves both elegance and readability, and a kana font based on early Showa metal type with Hiragino Kakugo kanji and European characters. A combination of gothic fonts, ``Hiragino Kakugo Old.'' A new "Hiragino font" with a different design has been released. "Hiragino Kakugo Simplified Chinese" is the first Chinese font by a Japanese font manufacturer to obtain certification of the national standard GB18030-2000 from the government of the People's Republic of China.
