Realization of Kajima Group's mid-term IT policy, SBT supports by providing solutions and operations
Since its founding in 1840, Kajima has been involved in the development of social infrastructure in Japan and around the world, building numerous structures such as buildings, public facilities, and transportation infrastructure. Kajima has formulated a medium-term IT policy and is promoting the development of an IT infrastructure environment using cloud services in order to improve convenience and reduce operating costs by combining information sharing platforms within the group.
As the first step, Kajima introduced Office 365, a cloud-based communication platform, and ADFS on Cloud, an Active Directory linkage solution, from SBT. We are working to strengthen the Kajima Group's management base by unifying the email systems that were used individually by each group company and improving productivity and user convenience. Utilizing SBT 's help desk service also leads to effective use of Office 365.
As part of our second step, we have introduced SCCM and Intune to achieve unified management of client PC configuration information, software updates, and distribution for the entire group, and to improve our security level. Upon implementation, SBT was highly evaluated due to its proven track record in Office 365 help desk support and the fact that SCCM operations could also be entrusted to them. With the introduction of SCCM, we are now able to collect PC/server information and smoothly implement vulnerability countermeasures and software version updates in accordance with the group security policy. Kajima, which operates globally, plans to consider full-scale use of Intune in the future to manage PCs and devices located in areas where internal network environments are not available.
SBT will continue to contribute to the development of our customers' businesses by providing high value-added services.
