Kochi National College of Technology was selected for the national functional strengthening project to secure advanced information specialist human resources, and is responsible for operating the KOSEN Cybersecurity Education Promotion Center, which is focused on cultivating cybersecurity human resources for the National Institute of Technology. In addition, it has the only curriculum on "information security" among the national colleges of technology in Japan, and promotes practical education in this field. In order to cultivate human resources who will be active in Japan, it is essential to develop next-generation education in collaboration with the industrial sector.
The appointment of Mr. Ryoma Takahashi as visiting professor was made possible based on this idea. We expect that as a practitioner, he will be able to impart the latest knowledge from the industrial world to students and provide ideal lectures that will cultivate a sense for practical problem-solving.
