SB Technology Corp. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President ＆ CEO: Shinichi Ata, hereinafter referred to as "SBT") is pleased to announce that it has established a solution partner in all six solution areas of the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program, Microsoft Japan 's cloud partner program. We have become a "Solution Partner" given to partners who have proven their high technical capabilities and abundant achievements. SBT is the only company in Japan to be certified as a solution partner in all fields (*as of June 2023).
■Solution partner certification
In the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program, this is a partner certification system that certifies companies that have high technical capabilities and expertise in six solution fields in line with Microsoft Japan market development. There are six solution areas: Business Applications, Data & AI (Azure), Digital & App Innovation (Azure), Infrastructure (Azure), Modern Work, and Security, divided into three categories (Performance, Skills, Customer Success) is scored and evaluated comprehensively based on a high level of expertise and a track record of providing technical solutions.
Since the launch of the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program in October 2022, SBT has been working to qualify each of its solution areas. With the acquisition of Business Applications in May 2023, we have become a Solution Partner in all six areas. This proves that the company has a broad range of technology and expertise across the Microsoft Cloud.
■ SBT 's efforts in Microsoft business
SBT has been developing the Microsoft business since 2009 and supports the introduction and operation of cloud solutions for government agencies and enterprise companies, such as the introduction of Microsoft 365, the construction of a data platform using Microsoft Azure, and the development of low-code applications. In addition, as its own services, it has developed "Managed Security Service (MSS)" for Microsoft security products and "clouXion," a solution brand that promotes the use of Microsoft 365, and has introduced MSS and clouXion services to more than 1,200 companies (* as of the end of March 2023). From 2014 to the present, we have been awarded the Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year award for nine consecutive years, and we have been recognized for our many achievements over the years. In addition, we also acquired two solutions (Infra and Database Migration to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop) last year under the "Specialization" program, which is given to partners with a higher level of expertise, in-depth knowledge, and extensive experience.
■Future developments
SBT will further strengthen its partnership with Microsoft Japan and collaborate on sales, marketing activities, technical support, etc. In addition, we plan to leverage Microsoft's technical capabilities cultivated through many implementations to develop businesses in new areas that utilize AI and data. SBT will continue to contribute to the realization of DX for customers by providing high-quality cloud security solutions.
