OnePortal Modern, our internal portal site construction solution, began offering a new feature, "Access Analysis," on July 30, 2024. Access analysis visualizes data such as the number of visits, visiting users, and search keywords for portal sites on SharePoint Online, helping to improve content navigation and analyze user behavior. By understanding the number of users who visit your site and the keywords they search for on your site, you can analyze the gap between the information users are looking for and the information that is being provided.
■ Features of the access analysis function
1. Understanding site usage trends
You can visualize usage of the site and grasp trends, such as which department is viewing it and how much access it is receiving.
The graph allows you to see the access status of each department on a daily and monthly basis.
2. Content access analysis
For each piece of content, such as bulletin board announcements, you can visualize who accessed it and when. This allows you to understand to what extent the information you posted is reaching the viewers.
You can get a detailed understanding of all access user information by downloading a CSV file.
3. Search term analysis function
You can see what people are searching for in the search box on your site.
Content with high search volume can be placed in more accessible locations on the portal site to reduce the number of searches.
