SB Technology Corp.

SB Technology Corp. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Shinichi Ata, hereinafter referred to as SBT) is Mitsui Fudosan Building Management Co., Ltd. (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Hiroshi Takahashi, hereinafter referred to as Mitsui Fudosan We have introduced ``Flow'', a workflow from the ``clouXion'' lineup that works with Microsoft 365, for building management.

"clouXion" is the general name for SBT unique services that utilize Microsoft 365 to support work style reform.

■Background of introduction

Mitsui Fudosan Building Management, as a company responsible for the real estate operation and management business of the Mitsui Fudosan Group, provides services related to the operation and management of office buildings and other properties.
Starting in 2017, the company has been implementing ``work style reform,'' a full model change that fundamentally reexamines work styles. The newly established ``IT Promotion Group'' in the General Affairs Department has led measures utilizing IT and has been working to realize flexible work styles that are not bound by location or time constraints. Under these circumstances, digitizing application and approval processes that had previously been handled on paper became a major issue, and we began considering the introduction of a workflow system.
When selecting a workflow system, Mitsui Fudosan Building Management compared and considered candidate products from various perspectives, including functionality, cost, and quality. The Mitsui Fudosan Group had introduced Office 365, and as a result of focusing on collaboration with Office 365, the deciding factor was that Flow was based on SharePoint and met the quality and security requirements of the Mitsui Fudosan Group. I was hired.

■Effects of introduction

After deciding to introduce it in November 2019, Mitsui Fudosan Building Management applied Flow's workflow to some application and approval tasks and conducted a trial for about four months. Through a trial run, we confirmed that workflows could be created in a short period of time and at low cost, and that users could use them without hesitation, so we implemented the system in May 2020 for 1,300 employees who use the workflow.
Currently, many internal application and approval tasks, including seal application processing, have been switched to Flow. Digitization eliminates the need to return to the office for approval, making the process from application to approval smoother and expected to improve the speed of customer response. The effects of the introduction are visible.
Mitsui Fudosan Building Management plans to continue expanding the scope of its business applications, including the use of newly added document management functions in Flow.

SBT 's goal is to become a "cloud consulting and service company that enhances the competitiveness of Japanese companies," and we focus on corporate IT solutions and business IT solutions. We will continue to support customers' work style reforms with cloud and security, and aim to be a business partner that contributes to the growth of their core business.
