Background of introduction

At BOOKOFF, we are expanding our business with the aim of ``providing added value through reuse,'' with a focus on expanding the used bookstore ``BOOKOFF'' domestically and internationally.
We are considering introducing Office 365 as a communication platform for the entire group, including employees and over 490 directly managed stores, and are aiming to improve work efficiency by creating an environment where functions such as email can be used anytime and from anywhere. I was considering it.
However, when it comes to using the service on terminals in stores, the fact that it can be used easily from anywhere has become a problem. The fact that it was not possible to restrict usage only within the store and that connections could be made from outside was a security concern.
On the other hand, fixing accounts to devices would impair the convenience of cloud services, so we were looking for a solution to both issues.

Therefore, SBT proposed this service that can easily implement device restrictions for cloud services without any effort.
In response to the requirement of "restricting use outside the store when used in-store," it can be easily implemented without developing and implementing a time-consuming authentication system, and cloud-based security developed exclusively for Office 365. The service was highly evaluated and was adopted.

Currently, Bookoff is actively expanding the range of uses for this service, including not only controlling devices but also automating account password management.
