SB Technology Corp.

SB Technology Corp. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Shinichi Ata; hereinafter referred to as SBT) will begin offering the "Security Posture Report for Microsoft 365" on November 25, 2025, to support security measures for organizations that have adopted Microsoft 365 E3 and E5.

This service diagnoses your Microsoft 365 environment based on Microsoft Secure Score *1, CIS Benchmark *2, and SBT 's accumulated knowledge of supporting the implementation and operation of Microsoft products. It identifies vulnerable settings that could lead to security risks such as information leaks and proposes appropriate countermeasures in a report format to help strengthen security. By referencing the report's key points, even if there are multiple action items, it becomes clear which items should be prioritized, reducing the burden on system administrators and security personnel when formulating improvement plans.

Security Posture Report for Microsoft 365

■ Background

In recent years, as flexible work styles that are not bound by time or place have become more common, Microsoft 365 has been adopted by many organizations, including major companies and local governments. However, cloud services pose serious risks, such as information leaks, if authentication and data sharing scope settings are inappropriate. Microsoft 365 provides "Microsoft Secure Score" as standard for system administrators and security personnel, but understanding all specifications and maintaining and managing secure settings requires advanced expertise.
To address these challenges, SBT will begin offering the "Security Posture Report for Microsoft 365" to support security measures for organizations that have implemented Microsoft 365 E3 and E5. This service allows customers to check whether their Microsoft 365 environment meets Microsoft's recommended settings, and if there are any configuration issues, they can find specific solutions.

SBT was first awarded the Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year award in 2012, which recognizes Microsoft Japan partners with outstanding achievements, and has won the award for 11 consecutive years since 2014. In addition, in the "Specialization" that recognizes partners with a high level of expertise, we have obtained "Identity and Access Management", "Cloud Security", and "Threat Protection" in the security area. We use this knowledge to help customers strengthen the security of their Microsoft 365 environment.

■ Service features

1) Two plans to detect improper settings
This service is available in two plans: the Basic Plan and the Premium Plan.
・Basic Plan: Based on the CIS benchmark (Microsoft 365), this plan assesses basic and important items such as accounts, authentication settings, and data sharing.
・Premium Plan: In addition to the Basic Plan diagnostics, it also diagnoses more advanced and multi-layered security settings, such as audit logs, detailed settings for Microsoft Defender products, DLP (data leakage prevention), and information protection.
2) Providing next steps and support for improvement
The survey results are presented in an easy-to-read report that compiles and analyzes your Microsoft Secure Score. By clearly presenting the necessary actions, we clarify which responses should be prioritized. After explaining the results at a debriefing session, we provide off-site support for five business days to help you take action toward improvement.
