SB Technology launches "Cloud Patrol" support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

SB Technology Corp. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President ＆ CEO: Shinichi Ata; hereinafter referred to as SBT) has begun supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for its CSPM/ASM service "Cloud Patrol," developed and provided by SBT, from November 12, 2025.

"Cloud Patrol" is a service that helps strengthen cloud security by detecting misconfigurations and discovering unintentionally exposed servers for public clouds such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. As the use of OCI has expanded in recent years, the need for security measures in companies' multi-cloud environments has grown, leading to the introduction of OCI support.
This means that Cloud Patrol now supports the four major clouds (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and OCI), and even when using multiple public clouds, you can protect up to 1,000 targets at the same price, and manage them centrally on Cloud Patrol.

■ OCI compatible functions

1) Emergency risk countermeasures

We will detect and notify you of high-risk ports that may be open, which could lead to unauthorized access or information leaks, and inadequate authentication or authorization. We will also detect and notify you of login attempts from unintended countries and an abnormal number of failed login attempts.

2) Guideline-based audits

We audit the compliance status of each environment based on the CIS benchmark. We list the target resources for each audit item and visualize the results. We also provide a dedicated website that guides you through how to address each item.

3) Attack Surface Management

Identify exposed resources and gain visibility into your attack surface to help minimize risk.

Monthly fee: from 50,000 yen (excluding tax)
*Initial cost: Free
*Protection target: Same price up to 1,000 units
・For any excess amount, an additional contract of 50,000 yen (excluding tax) per month is required for every 1,000 units.

-AWS: Number of accounts
-Google Cloud: Number of projects
-OCI: Number of compartments

Going forward, we plan to add an "Attack Path Report" function for OCI environments that lists the paths that attackers take to achieve their ultimate goal by exploiting multiple security misconfigurations in a cloud environment in a chain reaction, as well as an OCI version of the report that corresponds to the "Draft Requirements and Evaluation Criteria" in the "Interim Report for Establishing a Security Measures Evaluation System to Strengthen Supply Chains," which is being promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
