SB Technology,

- Enables secure connection from anywhere, while providing optimal security operations tailored to each customer's environment and manned monitoring by security analysts 24/7/365 -

SB Technology Corp.

SB Technology Corp. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Shinichi Ata; hereinafter referred to as SBT) will begin offering the monitoring service "MSS for Secure Gateway (Prisma Access)," which utilizes Palo Alto Networks' cloud-based security platform "Prisma® Access" *1, from February 13, 2025.

In this service, SBT security analysts monitor Prisma Access in the customer's environment 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, checking security alerts and accurately grasping the situation based on them. If an incident affecting the customer's environment is detected, Prisma Access will block communication, protecting the customer from various security threats via the web.
This allows users to connect safely with the same level of security no matter where they are, enabling early detection of incidents and assistance with countermeasures.

MSS for Secure Gateway(Prisma Access)

■Background

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, companies have expanded the use of hybrid work, combining in-office work with remote work. As work styles become more diverse and the use of cloud services increases, there is a demand for an environment in which connections can be made securely regardless of location. The same environmental changes have become evident in the domestic SWG (Secure Web Gateway) market, increasing demand for zero trust, and the market is expected to continue to expand in the future *2.

SBT has been offering "MSS for Secure Gateway," in which SBT analysts monitor SWG products in customer environments, since 2019. In order to better meet customer needs, we will add Prisma Access, which has a large share of the domestic SWG market, to the list of monitored products.

■Comment from Hiroshi Arii, Chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks

We are very pleased that SB Technology will begin offering monitoring services using Prisma Access. As the business environment undergoes various changes, such as the accelerated cloud shift and hybrid work along with the digitalization of business, a new form of network security that adopts a zero trust strategy is required. Palo Alto Networks' Prisma Access provides secure access regardless of location or device, and can apply consistent security to the entire organization, making it an essential part of our customers' transformation efforts. We look forward to working with SB Technology to help promote the growth strategies of all organizations through their extensive experience.
