[11th consecutive year] SB Technology Corp. wins Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year 2024 "Security" award

SB Technology Corp. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President ＆ CEO: Shinichi Ata, hereinafter referred to as "SBT") is pleased to announce that it has been awarded "Security" in the "Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year 2024" announced by Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter referred to as "Microsoft Japan").
Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year is an annual program in which Microsoft Japan selects companies that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in a variety of fields. SBT received its first award in 2012 and has won the award for 11 consecutive years since 2014.

The "Security" award recognizes partners who are demonstrating outstanding efforts to provide comprehensive security solutions to customers based on Microsoft security features, primarily Microsoft 365.
By implementing Microsoft Sentinel, SBT has centralized management of various security logs, including those from Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other products, and has established a 24/7 monitoring and operation system for security systems, including those at overseas bases. This has enabled early detection of cyber attacks and rapid resolution of incidents, and the company was recognized for improving its customers' security measures.

In the future, SBT will support customers' comprehensive security measures and security operations by providing support for the implementation of Microsoft Sentinel and related Microsoft Security solutions, as well as through monitoring and analysis by analysts at the Security Monitoring Center.

■ About security services and external evaluations related to Microsoft products

SBT opened its Security Monitoring Center (SBT-SOC) in 2014 and began providing Managed Security Services (MSS) in 2016. In 2019, it opened the Global Monitoring Center, a security monitoring base for domestic companies with global expansion, and has provided security monitoring and operation services to over 200 companies and organizations, as well as local government customers in 405 cities and towns in 12 prefectures. From 2021, it added "MSS for Microsoft Sentinel" and provides security monitoring for various products, including Microsoft 365 E5 Security.

In July 2023, we ranked first in sales revenue share of the SIEM operation service market in FY2022 in the "Current Status and Outlook of the Managed Security Services Market 2023 Edition" published by Deloitte Tohmatsu MIC Research Institute Co., Ltd.*1. In addition, in December 2023, we ranked first in vendor sales revenue share in FY2022 in the two areas of "Microsoft 365 Operational Monitoring Service" and "SIEM Operational Analysis Service/Managed XDR Service" in the ITR Market View published by ITR Corporation*2, making us the No. 1 company in market share for two consecutive years since FY2021.
