Another problem is that when getting answers from internal data, it is difficult to get accurate answers, and business efficiency cannot be improved.
In response to these issues, SBT has begun early testing of Azure OpenAI Service, which enables the use of secure generative AI, with the aim of enabling customers to use generative AI safely and improve operational efficiency. We have also worked to improve the response accuracy of generated AI through internal use of SBT and joint demonstrations with some customers. We have turned the know-how we have gained into a service and have started supporting the introduction of generative AI for companies and local governments.

■About demonstration with Kyowa Kirin
SBT and Kyowa Kirin will begin a joint demonstration project in May 2023 aimed at utilizing generative AI in business. At Kyowa Kirin's Research and Development Headquarters, we verified the accuracy and usability of the response accuracy of the generation AI in order to shorten the search time for the huge amount of research and development-related document files stored in SharePoint Online. As a demonstration environment, we developed an information search application that incorporates SBT 's core technology as well as features that allow users to configure various settings. For example, for research and development-related documents that you do not want the answer results of AI to fluctuate, you can set the answer results according to the actual practice so that you will always get a unique answer to the question, or you can set the answer results from the document file that will be the answer source. We installed and verified various setting items, such as displaying quotations and specifying the number of quotations. As a result, we were able to obtain appropriate answers in document searches, confirming the effectiveness of work efficiency.
In the future, we will continue to expand the scope of the demonstration and continue to support the use of generated AI by all of our approximately 5,000 employees, which is currently underway.
