Enhancing the vacation system and promoting work-life balance for employees

SoftBank Technology Corp.

SoftBank Technology Corp. (SBT) hereby announces that it has newly established disaster leave (special paid leave) from April 2017, expanded the scope of use of accumulated annual paid leave, and increased the upper limit on the number of days that can be taken. . Through these initiatives, we aim to make it easier for employees to take paid leave and improve their work-life balance.

Establishment of disaster leave

If you are unable to work due to damage to your home due to a natural disaster such as a storm, earthquake, or fire, you can now take disaster leave (special paid leave) for up to five consecutive or divided working days.

Regarding expansion of the scope of use of accumulated annual paid leave

Accumulated annual paid leave can be automatically accumulated up to 10 days per year, up to a maximum of 60 days, out of the annual paid leave that expires due to the statute of limitations. Previously, it was available only when you were unable to work due to nursing care or personal injury or illness, but the scope of use has been expanded to include cases where you are unable to work due to infertility treatment, hospitalization, family care leave, hospital visit leave, nursing care leave, special care leave, etc. We have made it possible to use it as an alternative for vacations, disaster leave, etc.

In line with the expansion of these leave systems, we have increased the number of annual paid holidays granted by up to 4 days (maximum of 14 days granted in the first year of employment). SBT will continue to promote work-life balance for its employees.
