New brand “clouXion” The future of DX realized with customers

SoftBank Technology Corp. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Shinichi Ata, hereinafter referred to as SBT) aims to support corporate digital transformation (hereinafter referred to as DX) centered on SBT 's Microsoft solutions and proprietary cloud solutions. We are pleased to announce the launch of a new brand, "clouXion," to accelerate essential cloud utilization and support business growth and transformation.

■ Background of the launch of clouXion

Recently, as part of work style reform, companies are moving forward with DX, with initiatives such as improving productivity through operational efficiency and telework, improving overall business through the use of data, and creating new corporate value as a result. However, it is difficult to carry out DX on your own, and the presence of partners who support DX is essential. Furthermore, according to IDC Japan Inc., although there are many companies working towards DX, approximately 40% of domestic companies have announced that they are only trying to improve the efficiency of traditional business in the short term. There are only a limited number of companies that can continuously create innovative products and services and bring about market change (*).
In order for companies to proceed with DX that involves the use of IoT, AI, and big data, SBT requires not only simple cloud migration of the systems used, but also easy introduction, safe utilization, and establishment of SBT for companies. We believe that this is the case, and are promoting the cloud migration and utilization of corporate systems in three stages. (Figure 1)

clouXion accelerates the use of STAGE 1 and 2 communication platform products such as email systems and collaboration platform products such as business systems, establishes cloud migration in companies, and supports business growth and transformation.
In the future, clouXion will continue to expand its solutions to reduce the burden on companies and further improve operational efficiency, including streamlining the implementation of each product, automating workflows, chatbot functionality, and integrated cloud management.

■ SBT 's cloud performance

We have been working on an integrated information sharing cloud service centered on e-mail since its release in 2009, and have introduced it to many companies such as Office 365, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and Dynamics 365. In addition, in 2010, SBT began offering its own cloud solution, Online Service Gate, which enables secure and flexible management of usage rights for external use of various cloud services such as Office 365, and OnePortal, which shortens the deployment time and efficient site configuration of SharePoint Online. We have provided various cloud solutions such as the introduction of Classic. The implementation results, including these unique cloud solutions, have been highly evaluated globally, including receiving various awards from Microsoft, and the number of users introduced has exceeded 1.79 million users in 832 companies as of the end of June 2018.
