SoftBank Technology Corp.
SoftBank Technology Corp. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, President and CEO: Shinichi Ata, hereinafter referred to as "SBT") has launched "SIGNAL", an AI chatbot that analyzes websites and provides advice while developing data-utilizing human resources. We would like to inform you that we will start handling "AI" from April 2018.
■Development background
Nowadays, the use of big data has become so important that it becomes the basis for corporate decision-making, and data utilization personnel are required to quickly extract useful knowledge from the data accumulated within companies and organizations and link it to action. It is being However, the shortage of human resources who can master data and analysis tools to create value from data is becoming increasingly serious, and while the demand for consulting for data utilization is increasing, there is also a limited number of human resources who can provide value. As a result, prices have increased, it has taken longer to respond, and the quality of consulting has become difficult to maintain due to the burden of volume.
Our consultant Sho Hashimoto, who has been leading SBT 's data utilization since 2010, has sensed similar issues from interviews with companies and his own activities, and we are looking to resolve the issues faced by such users and providers in data utilization. With the aim of doing this, we have decided to develop an AI chatbot "SIGNAL AI" as a website analysis and improvement trainer.
SIGNAL AI supports user company site analysis and problem discovery 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through communication between users and chatbots. In addition to providing advice on site improvement and in-depth analysis of analysis results, we will also provide Q&A on how to operate analysis tools and analysis methods, as well as video distribution of educational content based on chatbot usage history. As a result, users will be able to quickly check what they want to know at the time they want to consult, and company personnel can expect to improve their productivity in core operations such as marketing strategies and site improvement actions. It will also be possible to develop human resources capable of basic data analysis within the company. It is also expected that the use of consulting will be able to be focused on addressing more essential issues.
■About the future
Currently, as part of the AI learning period, we are conducting demonstration experiments with the cooperation of companies that have adopted the system in advance. We will start providing the service in April 2018, when the students complete their studies.
