SoftBank Technology 's work style reform and Premium Friday
SBT 's theme is "Each employee can live a fulfilling life." By maintaining good mental and physical health and finding fulfillment in work, SBT will enable each employee to play an active role and utilize the power of technology. We are promoting work style reform with the aim of creating new added value.
We are promoting the expansion of systems to correct long working hours and support efficient and flexible working styles. As part of these efforts, we are offering a flexible time system (core time 10:00-16:00) and a super flextime system (no core time). In addition to completing the transition to a flextime system for all employees except shift workers, we are also starting Premium Friday as part of our efforts to further promote work-life balance. At our company, we recommend leaving work at 3:00 pm on the first Premium Friday, February 24th (Friday), and we are proceeding with consideration (*) on the premise that we will set up a periodic 3:00 pm leaving day after that to create the optimal work schedule for employees. We will work to achieve life balance.
*We plan to decide on the implementation date after March, taking into account the social penetration of Premium Friday and our business model.

■Introducing a day to leave work on time
In order for employees to have more private time after leaving work and to lead a healthy daily life, we have a day to leave work on time once a week, every Wednesday. As a result of other initiatives, the company-wide average overtime hours are expected to be reduced by more than 10 hours, from approximately 42 hours in fiscal 2015 to approximately 31 hours (estimated) in fiscal 2016.
■Introduction of days to encourage paid leave taking
In order to create a work environment where it is easy for employees to take paid leave and to spend time with friends and family, we have created a system where employees can take days off (Mondays and Fridays) with paid leave, such as when Tuesdays and Thursdays are public holidays. We have set this as a day to encourage people to take vacation.
